March 28 - April 6, 2008
A 10 day long curated art event "New Tokyo Contemporaries" will be held in the Spring of 2008 at a new Tokyo destination site, the Shin-Marunouchi building.
The event is held in conjunction with the Marunouchi Art Week and intended to bring together many people to enjoy new Japanese art. 7 members of the next generation of Tokyo galleries will participate in a co-curated exhibition entitled "end of the tunnel". The event will also feature a series of art performances and a special-guest talk event.
2008年春、東京の新スポット新丸の内ビルディングにて期間限定のアートイベント「ニュートーキョーコンテンポラリーズ」が開催されます。
丸の内アートウィークの一環として開催される本イベントは、丸の内を中心に様々な人が集う場を目指しています。
次世代とされる現代美術のギャラリー7軒が共同キュレイションした展覧会 "end of the tunnel" が開催される他、スペシャルゲストを迎えトークやパフォーマンスを企画しております。
